Ron Wasserman will NOT do a theme for PROO

I`ll just re-post what I said over the GKA Times, gosh darn it I`m angry

I am sorely disappointed, disappointed that you’ve insulted one of our own. By not even allowing the common courtesy of announcing the due date for this year’s theme you insulted hundreds of us by not giving him any dignity of a chance.

A show is on for 15 years without missing one single season and the man you just shot down this year was the voice of it’s biggest and most popular seasons, how can you NOT give him a chance with a straight face? I guess most of us who are angry over this are angry not just because we enjoy Ron Wasserman’s music, but because a lot of us see him as a friend and nobody wants to see his or her friends shot down at anything.

I know this sort of thing happens everyday in every venue to almost everyone and anyone in the music business, but you tell me how many people shot down this year has THOUSANDS of fans already world wide?
Even people who don't care for Ron`s music knows that he deserves respect for being the voice of PR for so many years, a respect I`m not so sure you have.

If you guys are so upset that Ron uploaded music, than be brave and tell him about it and don’t wreathe in your chairs like little children.
Let it be known to everyone at Disney, that plenty of us stand behind Ron even if his work didn’t even get the chance to actually be recorded, we’ll support him in the next year, and the year after that and the year after that.


.I hope and pray one day one of you decides to come out and show yourselves and open a decent dialog every now and then, but until that day comes, stick to Rangerboard, Henshin Justice and don’t forget to Read The G.K.A. Times.

Funny, it was mostly RB that was deriding Ron, a little irony in telling people to "stick to that":sweat:

At least GKA and HJU are'nt as stuck up Bruce's hole as their mod teams are, Trist jumped the gun last night sensing damage control was needed in the wake of how MF wrapped half of it's status quoe up ten weeks early and tried to throw another "MF does'nt suck" thread their way.

I have to remind folks he did the same thing with SPD in 2005, and in that thread, he acknowledged it had no faults, in this one he's admitting there were some.

Combine that with the gimmick posters like Hasso (a Wet blanket noob in 2005 who now fakes a gritty "come get some" attitude that only gets ya banned in the end), and you have a forum with no identity, no integrity, and no director, and that's fairly sad to see, as everything about the fandom is measured by them, now it's often everything bad about the fandom that is measured by them

You know, it's sad, but it obviously doesn't affect Ron that much, as he's still planning to get right back on it next year, and it doesn't affect the story or characters or action or anything that will make PR:OO good or bad. Declaring that Disney are a bunch of assholes, PR is going down the toilet and that RB is the devil all seems a tad premature. Why don't we all try and be as classy about this as Ron in being?

I would'nt say all of RB are the devil, but the mods ARE sell-outs, nothing said that more than in 2005 when they were forbidding any negative discussion of SPD, it was'nt until Funaroverse flat out said it to their faces that they stopped doing that and RB became an anti-SPD majority gradually as the season was compared to MF's early run, their true opinions allowed to be voiced at last.

As for PR going down the toilet, oh I'm not going to deny it, it is. It just is, much like The Simpsons long went past the point of no return, the show will go on, but anything that made it what it was will have dissapated to the extent it's living on it's namesake and nothing more

PR seasons for me usually end now around the thirteenth episodes, SPD tanked after that number, MF, despite still being the stronger season, still tanked close to that number, OO will tank close to or after that number. Anything else is a bonus

Yeah, during that "SPD negative discussion is forbidden" period I posted my "long and controversial SPD rant", guess what? It didn't get locked, I didn't get banned, and it prompted a lot of discussion.

What happened with SPD on RB is that the first few episodes were so good, that when the series started to tank fast, quite a few of us pretended it was still good for a long time until we could not longer deny it. THEN we started speaking out, and RB became mostly anti-SPD.

The real problem is people who refuse to do anything but whine and bitch about PR before a show has even aired. Then we bitch when we don't get things like teamups, but honestly, if I was Bruce I'd be saying "**** them, they'd just bitch about it anyway."

He's kind of doing that already, he has'nt had offered one interview since this season began, the "Hollywood suck up" approach backfired on Ray and cost everyone the oppertunity to maintain close contact with the cast because the negative criticisms eventually led to the unnecersary death threats and jokes aimed in Bruce's direction. You know from the last interview he gave here he was bitter

Why is it every time someone says "A season reaches a point it's no longer consistent and everything else that's good about it comes few and far between", someone HAS to say "don't like it, don't watch it", it's the most inane thing to say to anyone and it NEVER works, so why keep asking it? You're never going to get the answer "I won't watch it" out of me or anyone you ask it to.
