Spectacular was a great series but now of days that doesn't matter. But they did say that it was up to Sony if they wanted to do more. So I'll hold that as a ray of hope.

Wolverine and the X-Men was the crack. It won just on the simple fact of Emma Frost. But it did an excellent job of storytelling and it's a shame it's getting the shaft this way.

On the other hand, Bendis with Ultimate Spider Man shouldn't disappoint. If it's one thing that Brian Michael Bendis can do it's tell a damn good story.

You're placing faith in the guy who wrote the awful "Avengers: Disassembled" and the mediocre "House of M?"



I'll be not holding my breath about this Ultimate show.

Bendis writes bad crossovers. Let him have his own setting to play in and he writes much better stories.

Right now I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that ultiate spiderwoman likes guys :S If I snapped my figures & turned you into a woman 5 years from now do you think you would be out banging guys ?:S

They're essentially killing Spectacular Spider-Man and replacing it with the same goddamn thing. SSM was the best recent animated Spider-Man series to date. Granted, a lot of it was toned down for a kids show, but it had fairly interesting character development.

As far as Wolverine and the X-Men goes, I can't say I'm surprised. Disney usually has a good way of fucking up a good thing.
