Yeah, if I remember correctly, Pegasus form had a time limit of a 1 min 30 seconds, or else Godai would revert to Growing form, and couldn't henshin for 2 hours. That means he had 90 seconds to destroy a Grongi, and failing would result in more deaths. Rising Pegasus only added another 30 seconds or so to the time limit.

I am now convinced that the show would be nowhere near as enjoyable if it wasn't for the supporting cast.

I loved Godai as much as I loved the supporting cast. Maybe it is because I tend to look at the characters from a psychological viewpoint. I did not see Godai as a complete goofball like most people want him to be.
I saw a man who is so desperate to make others happy, that he will put himself at constant risk.
If you notice, there were quite a few scenes when Godai was alone, where you realized that he was in fact not happy at all, and was actually suffering a lot from the damage that his powers had done to his body.
But as soon as he had to stand in front of others, he put up a smile and acted like nothing was wrong. This is where Godai stands out compared to the other Heisei Riders (Agito included). He did not want the pity of others. He did not want to whine and complain about how hard his life had become. There was only one way for him to go, and that was forward.
His Showa seniors would have been proud of him.

^ The finale comes to mind. We see Godai entertaining a bunch of kids and putting on his usual smile, but when he leaves them he takes on a more saddened look. It's as though he went the distance to keep everyone else happy and safe, and now has to find his own happiness again.

The McDonalds product placement in episode 24 seems very random, because they've never done anything like that so far. I mean, yeah, Godai's motorcycle helmet has the brand name on it, but this is Godai going out of his way to sing McDonalds' praises.
Where they running out of money, or something? Because that's the only reason I can see for them resorting to something as blatant as that seemingly out of the blue.

The belt turned gold during the fight he killed the apparently last of the Me class of Grongi with the purple form with the sword (Titan form?)
Before that during the episode, he comes to the university, and the researcher whose name I can't remember is at the table with a McDonalds bag, and the burger out. She lets him eat it, he goes on and on about how yummy it is, and how it even tastes good cold before going back to business.

I just started rewatching Kuuga. I watched it a long time ago raw, now I am watching it subbed.
