Regarding TVN's PayPal

TVN doesn't harass Century Kings. From what I understand they appreciate them quite a bit. Know why? They aren't trying to sub stuff TVN already is subbing, and they do a good job subbing what they do.

And that's what some are saying. Why can't another group sub the same series? Yeah, it's pretty much a waste, but if that's what the group wants to spend their time doing, why should TVN be allowed to harass them? Does TVN have the right to all current shows or something?

It is a starting point. Groups aren't totally awesome at their jobs until they've had some time. I remember watching some of TVN's earlier subs and being turned off immediately. I didn't come back to watch for a few years, and they have really improved. It takes time though.

By dissing other groups and scaring some into quiting, it doesn't even give them a chance to become better. Oh no, they are subbing the same series, the translations and typesetting isn't as good as ours... Please. More groups can benefit the community. Yeah, maybe they have a rocky start, but they need to be given a chance. Even if they start off on the same show, they can expand to different areas. And even if the subbing sucks and never improves, we don't have to download them.

...and I'm sure it's either been a misunderstanding, or someone did something to generally piss KingRanger off, as he usually is the agressor and you guys shouldn't group all of TVN together with any single entity, be it KingRanger, takenoko, or Magenta, or whoever.

Yet, it is okay for HJU to be grouped as a single entity of leechers? I really think the main problem here is with KingRanger, not the whole group.

As for the legality of fan subbing. I'm not really going to argue. People deluded into believing it is legal aren't going to be swayed. However, trying to attack TVN through PayPal is pretty low. :redface2:

TVN is already blaming us for what happened. If someone here really was invovled... I have no words for how dissapointed I will be.

I'm sorry but PayPal, like the majority of companies, takes AT LEAST 24 hours to respond to a complaint. I remember when I had an issue with my own PayPal account that it took over 24 hours for a response. So we're to believe that I make a post about their Paypal account, someone else makes a comment about "making a plan" (at around 2 or 2:30) and boom, all of a sudden they're shut down within three hours and a half hour after THAT he has a contact inside Paypal that will reopen his account. Uh huh. I have some prime real estate property in the Florida Everglades for sale but I'm fresh out of bridges in Brooklyn.

It really cracks me up that people are believing his BS, again. Some of you are so gullible.

Well if TVN ever does go down, I'm sure KingRanger will be back up with a different group uploading the old TVN files and still subbing new stuff

Need any help there? Thats what I was subbing as well since TVN crushed my hopes of subbing Gekirangers >.> if not that I still have a few Sentai crossovers that could use some subbings.

well, kagami arata and i threw in our own two cents on the topic over in the TVN forums, i tried defending us saying that we're looking for the guy who reported tvn, which is true, kingranger didn't believe me, oh well........... but seriously it's amazing how quickly things can snowball

I hope whoever did this is happy. KingRanger has just announced that he is cutting himself off from the Tokusatsu community. Althought I'm sure a lot of you are satisfied about this, I for one am saddened by it. The seperation of any fan from the community is deplorable, and anyone who has ever done wrong to TVN in any way, shape, or form should feel ashamed. I've promised to work in his stead to defend TVN should anyone abuse it in any way, as has happened with JSH of late. Fair warning to you all, as I'm sure someone's gonna come right back at me and call me the TVN-NeoNazi or something.
