paypal scam?

has anyone that has been using paypal having alot of problems with refunding money back? because i bought something and the company did refund me because i saw the transaction id and i think that paypal is holding my money.

i saw alot of people by reviews having problems with paypal holding their refunds and if that's the case, if i want make a change, what's the best alternative to paypal? because i was planning on selling more stuff on ebay but im afraid if i do that with paypal they might not give the money to me or for me to refund it back to them.

Google checkout is really the only up and coming alternative, but paypal has huge market penetration so you'll be stuck with it unless you want to miss out on alot of good stuff.

Did you do a dispute?
I think they are holding your money until the case is over.

I've sold quite a number of items thru ebay for the last 1-2 months, never had any problem with my money holding by paypal like it used to...

Even with refund, money was immediately transferred back to the other party's account right away. Like recent refund I had from AmiAmi...

Keep in mind that the refund procedure may vary depending on your funding source for that particular payment whether it is top-up from bank, credit card or e-cheque...

It usually takes some time to get e-cheque to clear...


Recommendation: just contact paypal and ask why your money is on-hold...
