Re-examining Digimon Savers (Season Five)

Well, I finished watched Digimon Savars a hour ago. This series is somewhat very compared to Bleach that reminded me of, the story line were pretty well putting all together, yet, the season I discovered that it's so darker, sadder, emotional.

Mind you, the songs were very nice, always leave to make me happier, but second half of the season were so darker, most of foul language I see there, they fought so harder to save both earth and digital world from collision each other, Craniamon couldn't believed it in his own eyes to learning about emotions that is so raw, yet he understood why they wants humans and digimon to live in harmony from times to times.

Yggdrasil thought that it was necessary to remove humans and earth all together in the order to save digital world from destruction, they dare to defy his plans to end all life on the earth, Marcus himself, I'm inspired his courage for not letting Yggdrasil not to having his way any longer. But why did Yggdrasil want to wiping all life on the earth, despite humanity's error?

Kurata's actions were inexcusable, wanting to rule both earth and digital world himself, to him, all digimon are evil. Not all digimon are evil, all digimon were respond to humanity's emotions of their needs, that's why they were appeared in earth in the first place.

Yet, second half of the season, that nearly leaves me in the pool of sadness, the story line were well constructed, why do they make this series so darker and sadder as the question begs? This series I couldn't bear any longer, that cause me wanting to make my eyes swimming with the tears, it's too darker than the previous series.

Do you understand what I'm asking here? I want to know why.

Maybe it was me outgrowing Digimon, but I really didn't like Data Squad that much. Marcus was the most annoying "gogglehead" ever which is ironic since he was the oldest.

Season 1 and season 2 were outstanding. Tamers, frontier, and savers IMO all were trash. The first two seasons had great characters and everyone got pretty much equal time. The other three series were lop sided as far as character development went.

Have you seen Tamers? That was far darker than Savers.

Yeah, I have seen Tamers, but in english dubbed. I'm prepared to see it in Japanese version to re-examining later on to find out how much darker you were talking about.

I suggest that this thread be punted to the Animation X Comics index? It is an anime thread.

Let's do that.

I loved all first three seasons. As for the fourth season, I need to see the whole episodes and to be honest, I've seen the most episodes, not a lot.

As for season five, I thought it was meh. Poor Agumon.... for some reason it's not him from the first season and second season.

I was talking about the dub. They didn't really edit out all that much. At least nothing to really impact the show's tone.
