To me, things like "i'm so shocked/disgusted/this is the worst thing/ japanese are crazy, american people kills in a traditional way" and so on sounds so fake. I'm not tellin it isnt true what you feel, it's just me. I mean, I've just read that wiki article. What I've thought? "not bad, it could be a nice movie". Nothing more, and for sure nor shock neither disgust. Is it a terrible thing? Of course it is. I actually care? Absolutely not.

That's why comments like those sounds fake to me, coz I cant see how someone can actually care.

Yeah I agree. I've read stories worse than this anyway from other countries (ie africa) that actually had the pictures included from the crime scenes. Fucked up **** but thats how the world goes no changing it just try to avoid getting raped, killed and/or mutilated in any way. Stay safe and stuff.

Am I the only one who seemed to miss one of the biggest parts of the article:

Unfortunately, with the reduced charge comes a reduced sentence. He was convicted of injuries that lead to her death, not murder. Especially since he was still a minor at the time, they let him off easy. It's another thing that makes me sad...that and the wholesale exploitation of the story by perverted media people

Anyone hear about the hello kitty murder in japan? Worse than this one. Some girl was raped, beatin, etc died and the killers cut her to pieces and stuffed her skull into a hello kitty doll. Apparently all they found of her was her skull and some internal organs so the guys couldn't be charged with murder or something since they don't know the cause of death, only contributing to death. Guys only spent a few years in prison I think.
