Softscrubbing is taking, in this case t-n's work, and making it not suck. Removing the tachi's, the weaboisms, and that stuff.

Pretty much what he said, but I do have to add that most of the time (and I mean a good 75-80% of the time) a scrubber will work with translators to fix these up. So it's not just "They fixed the grammar and put in the actual translations for certain words, but what if there's a real mistake?! WHAT WILL YOU DO THEN?!?!", because they actual work with translators to help them out (I see discussions on word choices all the time, and stuff like that).
