The real reason Psy has become so "successful" is because after the song went viral he was sign to an American record company. The same company who runs artist like Beiber and Carly Rae. The reason Psy is on all these American shows and radio stations isn't because EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE HIM!!! It's because the record company pulls strings to get him on these shows. The more shows he appears on the bigger deal he seems to be and the more fooled the teens get and think he's awesome. The problem is it's not going to work because that record company doesn't understand viral videos. There never popular for long.

The songs weren't great, but I don't think America as a whole is not used to the idea of a group of a girl group of 9. Sure there's non-Asian fans. but for the most part, 9 is a lot.

Wait until AKB48 comes to the states.Even when divided into groups, there's still a lot.
