Power Stagnant: How to Keep PR Fresh

Yeah kids in Japan don't like action figures, they like roleplay toys and mechas.

All I want are interesting characters with interesting and appealing personality in interesting relationships, plus a story that's not idiotic and can stand on its own two legs without glaring plot holes.

The thing about removing the mechs out of it is that if you do so, you basically just have a 5 team group of Kamen Riders without PVC armor. The mechs are a vital part of Sentai. Just like Rider Kicks and belts are a part of Kamen Rider. I doubt you'll ever see a Belt Henshin device in sentai, or a one-peice wrist henshin device is kamen rider.

All I say is just give me a good story thats funny and fun to watch.

Thus, the Sentai Hero series figures for kids who don't want poseable ones. but I was wondering if they ever still sell...

Specially considering the Sentai toyline is almost nothing but the robots.

Of course Hibiki wasn't technically supposed to be Kamen Rider.

My point is, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are supposed to be different, they have to do whatever they can to differentiate between the two. Its another reason why Super Sentai should have mechs

POWER RANGERS ISN'T FUCKING SENTAI!!!

Power Rangers is it's own show. It uses Sentai footage, but it is it's own thing. They could have stuck Kamen Rider in the PR universe, and it would still be PR. All this **** about "sentai sentai sentai" is fucking irrelovent. If PR abandoned all Sentai source material tomorrow and started with all original stuff, it would still be PR. So all you people talking about how Sentai wouldn't do that sound like Bruce Kalish... utterly missing the point

Then if they were to cut megazords next year is NOT the year to do it.

Since you know...they're important characters.

Then after that...what would be the point of buying footage if you don't use the mecha footage?

Since forever. The Sentai toyline has always just had one action figure for each ranger. The only thing that's changed, is the figures are just soft vinyl now. As was said earlier, Japanese kids just don't like action figures all that much. The majority of the action figure market are older collectors.

Except the point we're making is they're not going to make a completely original series. It would cost too much.

Also, they did stick Kamen Rider in the PR universe. Masked Rider first appeared in a PR two parter. He was also much more awesome in it than his own show.
