Power Stagnant: How to Keep PR Fresh

Kids get bored too, and kids can take a good story too. As for the merchandising:

-Blade blasters
-Individual weapons
-combiner weapon
-vehicles
-costumes
-action figures
-battilizer
-candy
-videos
-morphers
- If rangers change suits somewhere in there, you can sell the merchandising for THOSE new things

Not to mention all the miscelanious stuff you can stick a PR logo on.

Your idea is good but did you see how everyone got so pissed that Geki didn't have belts?...imagine that with Mechas or Megazords.

Dude there's been mecha in Sentai for longer than I've been alive, they've been a part of the show since Battle Fever frickin' J! Its an iconic part of it now.

Now if they were to limit it to just one robot, maybe an old school 'two ships dock into a single one' gimmick that'd be fine. I mean Timeranger only had 4 mechas, one of which was a combination of two of them, Magi could only have two out at the same time because there were the rangers.

Beside you can't say the partner mecha idea isn't original >.>

Disney will be making a alot of money on next years toyline of Megazords alone. But if Megazords would ever be cut out of a season Sentai would attempt it first.

It would be really easy to cut them out if you can get an equivalent ( Like a tank, swat car, or other vehicles) that could combine ,but would not on the show's first half, giving it a retro sentai feel (Goranger/JAKQ), and give it the serious tone of the older( like having death ,seen Destruction/death ,and no CGI for the robot ,but an animatronic/ suit for the effects.

I'm just looking at it from kids point of view.

Well , some kids aren't all for the zords/mecha. Some like the figures only ,and some like playing with miniature tanks/ other vehicles. What I'm saying is that it should appeal to a broader demographic of kids, not just the robot -crazy ones.

Actually, I don't mind cgi for mech, but it has to play out on a real epic scale. Imagine the tyrannosaurus climbing the outside of a building for a flying tackle from behind. the megazord using buildings for cover. they need to address that problem of a city street being too small for this giant robot.

On top of that, I don't mean to remove the mechs forever, but they need to take a break from them and take stock of how to make them work. not just sell toys, but work for the company. Take a year off, bring the scale of the battles down a notch.

As an example. which is more exiting to you, watching the Drivemax Ultrazord fly and blow things up, or watching Akashi and Jan's Super Tiger Geki Red Zone Crush from teh movie (seen conveniently to my left)?
