Power Rangers team names in 2008

Here's the tentative names of the 2008 cast.

Theo is 17 years old. ANY NATIONALITY. He is a straight laced, private school conformist who never wants to get into trouble or break the rules. Not a nerd, but he is smart, strong, and a good fighter, but sometimes gets frustrated by Lily’s free spirit.

Lily is 18 years old. ANY NATIONALITY. Before coming to the Pai Zhuq Kung Fu academy she was the captain of the Cheer Squad at her High School. She brought home gold by incorporating her street dance into the school performances. She may look like the stereotypical cheerleader, underneath she is tough as nails and not to be underestimated. Outgoing, confident and ready to try anything.

RJ, Male, 21. ANY NATIONALITY. Slightly older than the others, he may be 21 or he may be 93 as he claims. He grew up at “The Order of the Claw†Martial Arts Centre so he is very proficient at this discipline. But, his life experience was zero. So, his teachers send him into the world and he opens up the Jungle Karma Pizza shop and serves as the boss and mentor to the teenage Rangers. Think a mix between Spicoli and Rev Jim

Casey, Male, 18 ANY NATIONALITY. Good looking, athletic, fun loving. Casey has a hard time with rules (think Maverick in "Top Gun"). He is a risk taker, a thrill seeker and a bit of a rebel. He likes to do things his way. He is also a master of the 'rig job': he can fix anything with a rubber band and some paper clips.

So basically, everyone who was freaking out over the name and thought that it meant there wouldn't be a martial arts emphasis in the show is now being served up an party-sized pizza topped with extra crow. Eat up, guys.

Pai Zhuq Kung Fu? Neat name... let's hope they know how to pronounce 'zh' correctly -.-

The any nationality part is nice since we might end up with an Asian red or something odd ball. Maybe Maori considering where they're shooting and all.

They probably will. I dont see a reason not to but you never know. I kind of like the Pizza place more than a sports store but I also loved Storm Chargers. It was nice knowing some of the rangers had jobs and such.

Oh I can just so see them throwing in a Boom character who works at the Pizza place, always fucking up the doh or smashing a pizza in someones face.

I actually was surprised to see people jumping to conclusions considering the title "Operation Overdrive" doesn't really indicate treasure hunting.
