About the season splitting in two seasons
They did this with Zeo , they did the first half of 20 episodes until May and then they take the summer break and resume the second 20 episodes in September of 1996,
I remember they did this, like when they couldn't form the Zeo Mega-Battlezord in the season 1 finale of Zeo, then they did "to be continued", which I thought it was the end. Then in September, they resumed the episode in season 2 with the debut of the Zeo Mega-Battlezord.
That's how its going to be done. It's not a surprise they are doing this because they did this with most of seasons of PR when Saban was still doing Power Rangers.
People are jumping to conclusions because when Disney took over, the episodes were continuing through the summer, which was a bad thing for toy sales because they weren't getting things in at that time.
I think it's fair that they are taking a summer break so the stores will have the toys by the time they resume the second season. I remember when Zeo having a summer break and I went to Toys R Us seeing that they had a new ranger, they had Golden Power Staff and the morphers, so it gave the distributors time to get the stuff in and not rushing because the new episodes weren't running in the summer time so there wasn't a lot of demand of new toys.
When Disney aired the episodes in summer, the distributors were having a hard time getting the stuff in because of so much demand, they weren't able to get everything. So I believe this is a good move by Saban.
