Nick has done like this before. Like I said, we will get an origin story. Can't you see that Nick has done in the past? Episodes are out of order......

Yet, Fans are complaining like angry gorillas demanding to see an origin story out of PRSamurai. Well..you have to be patient! We will get an origin story somehow and didn't Power Rangers' official facebook said that all will be revealed?

I don't get it why my statement don't make sense.

I watched every episode as Saban was posting them on the official website, plus, I have been watching Power Rangers since that first airing. The show was silly: Bulk and Skull, the lumbering Squat and Baboo, Goldar's lines, etc. As the show went on, it got even more silly, especially when they had to get Tommy out of the picture because Burai wasn't in the stock footage. Creative? Sure. Pretty weird in places? Oh hell yes. The kids frequently left school to fight Rita's monsters but Tommy couldn't get out of a Karate tournament? Come on, man.

So you consider bizarre circumstances in the show caused by lack of available Sentai footage to be...comical? Ok, that's a new one.

I also didn't say anything about acting and it being a kids show.

That post was in reference to someone complaining about the acting, so...yeah, you kind of did.

Um, that guy was talking about how cheesy the episode was, I went back and re-read it just to make sure, and he doesn't mention the acting. Though he does say, and I quote:

"We've de-evolved back to Power Rangers for kindergartners again."

That's why I was mentioning that it's a kids show. I was 7 when Power Rangers first came on in 1993. So that puts me in....First Grade. That's awfully damn close to kindergarten. In fact, it's only a year off. Surprise! Power Rangers IS for kindergartners! We haven't devolved at all, Saban is just doing what they've always done.

Like I've said before, I also have some issues with the acting, but hell, I was a Drama kid in high school, and watched theatre productions in college. I've seen some pretty bad acting, and what I'm seeing, even from Emily and Kevin (the ones I have issues with as of now), I'm fine with. The problem comes from the direction, or lack thereof, and I think that with some better writing and direction, these actors could be really strong.

I will also re-quote this line from that same poster:

"And with PRS being the highest profile PR show in years, the public perception of PR will now be permenently cemented as this kind of MMPR-era banal preschooler uber-cheese."

And yet, people are still saying that I'm at fault for saying that MMPR was JUST as cheesy as Samurai is now? Wat. Sense this does not make.

Yeah it really is. But who cares, just enjoy it. I mean sentai is cheesy as well.

The cheesiest part of PR Samurai imo is during the combat scenes, when both rangers and the MOTW would use puns and one-liners which turned the whole scene from serious to campy really fast.

Also i'm sorry but MMPR did not have great acting, in fact no Power Rangers has had great acting (probably why none of them have gone on to become big time stars). The premise of Power Rangers has always been good fighting evil with lots of explosions and giant robots going "pew pew". Samurai does have horrid acting, but as I said, Power Rangers is not meant to be a Shakespearian Play, it's meant to be an action show.
