Power Rangers S.P.D. - Final Thoughts

I personally don't like having 50 riders running around the place...

Who said they have to...

What was the saying again..."THAT'S SUPER SENTAI...THIS IS POWER RANGERS."

...knowing some people...

"THAT'S KAMEN RIDER...THIS IS MASKED RIDER???"

*wink*

Final overall thoughts on SPD are just prime.

Meant to make one of these myself, but thought to at least wait a while 'til after the finale and all was talkeda bout it.

Nixed the "I like Dekaranger".

This will be about SPD and its merits and faults not a PR vs. Sentai thread.

I just can't believe that SPD has finally come to an end.
It was a great season... definately had me hyped up about PR again.
The majority might think MMPR was the greatest season ever, but SPD in my eyes is the greatest season ever even if the series lacked a few stuff midway. The important thing was that it had me excited this whole year.

I don't know if it's late or what but I just whoooshed past that, I'm confused. What I'm saying is that PR, Sentai, whatever - no specific medium, I just prefer to have less characters to focus on because they would usually get more character development.

That's why I like SPD even though Kalish had to work with like 10 Rangers he still managed to pull some good development out of his hat. So that's why I'm saying that he could do a KR even if he has to work with a KR that has a lot of Riders. I just personally prefer Faiz over Hibiki because I can focus more on a few characters. That's my own opinion.

Regarding SPD, I still think it's frickin' awesome even if Omega wasn't always around or some of the development got shafted a couple of time. Kalish gets props for having to work with something totally different and rearrange it, and it's still great for what it is. The only gripe I have with SPD is that it's only like 38 Eps, which I guess has become common anyway with PR.

No, no MJ, lol. I'm saying Kalish could probably do a KR justice to America. Cuz we all know Masked Rider was wrong.

I wouldn't want to see a 2nd attempt at masked rider.
I wouldn't want current new gen series be compared to PR
I say it's best left in Japan

I think if done right...ah hell, only the older gen shows would have worked. Now they mix too many henshin shots with unhenshined. I still think maybe a try at something like the SSS might work.

Bah. I actually liked Dekaranger a bit more, only because I got really sick of the constant use of wires. And that EVERYONE knew martial arts. That kind of got to me in the end. But I'm not going to place my vote yet.

This may be a bit off topic but how many DVD's of SPD are out so far and how many episodes are on each DVD? Are they also in production order as well?
Because I am seriously consider buying the DVD for memories.
I'm the type who doesn't buy PR merchendise at all but damn...
it's jsut too great a series
