Who's to say those episodes won't be focused on the Green Ranger and the Red Ranger? And as someone mentioned on RB...perhaps those episodes are the history of each ranger's past. Who knows.

That's actually a good point. Eddie did say that this season will be more character-focused.

My guess is that while it is the same Venjix, they're not going to address it. He was probably planning to have it come out later as the plot unravels but since he was axed he never got that far. Since he has no idea what Judd is going to do he can't really say, "It's the same character." because if he wanted to he could make it so he isn't. Even though I doubt he would. If it was some random person I might be worried but it's Judd Lynn.

Which I'm sure if there's one past episode Judd has since its Forever Red. Though Eddie said they wrote a bible for the season, that bible is the property of Disney and not Eddie and thus would be in the possession of the writing staff. I bet we'll see this continue, I mean how out of the loop could John have been anyway?
