You must be talking about that rumored animated series, that was said to replace Live Action. That rumor is long gone. But who knows, perhaps we'll see some animated version one day...

There's nothing "bad" about PR being a cartoon because it could acheive things that the live-action cannot. If anything, Voltron already proved Toei had no problem with doing animated Sentai as well as doing live-action at the same time.

For god sakes there are enough animated shows out there. The point of Power Rangers is to go outside of the box and do something different...How many Kid shows are live action today?....none because PR was and currently is the only one. Turning it animated kills the point of it completely.

Yeah but how long did Voltron last compared to Super Sentai? Or even Power Rangers? The fact that its the only action show for kids out there makes it stand out. Cartoons are a dime a dozen nowadays so a kid will probably watch something else than Power Rangers Animated.
