Also do you honestly want a kid's long running tv show (granted, one with an older, fringe fanbase) to end with a Gainax Ending of all things? It's Power Rangers; it has to end with a "heroic, rousing finale," that's part and parcel of the genre. Don't tell me you actually expected some sort of philosophical or extremely deep and dark ending did you?

Eddie's Grand Finale:

The finale was "Ranger Black," where after Venjix is destroyed and Summer finally chooses which boy she wanted to be with, the sleeper programming in Dillon activates. The memories of he and Tenaya together were falsified and meant to lead the Rangers into taking him into their ranks and allowing him greater trust. Dillon NEVER EXISTED AT ALL. Now it falls to the rest of the team to destroy Venjix once and for all, even now that he controls the Morphing Grid.

God, that sounds sooooooooooooo much better than what Eddie was planning.

I hope that was sarcasm. I mean, Lynn's finale is very basic. It plays like the same finale we've seen. "Baddie unleashes attack" "Rangers stop it through lots of fighting and explosions"

I least Eddie's was taking a different route by saying the final battle was with their comrade.
