Power Rangers RPM - "Belly of the Beast" Talk Up!

Eddie more or less set up an Arc in the past several episodes (immediately after the flashback intro episodes)

Each episode building on the next and pushing the story forward..

Now all Judd's episodes sound like standalone episodes and filler so far. I hope I'm wrong but we'll see.

It's disappointing Eddie's story arc couldn't continue. I would have loved to hear how he'd push the storyline forwards from this episode.

Too bad this is Eddie Guzelian's last episode. But at least he ended his run as the writer with a bang. The drama and action in this episode was excellent. I'm glad that Mason and his troops got to do some fighting. I haven't seen a third party fight alongside with the rangers at all. I'm glad they did it this season and hopefully many more episodes of RPM to come. Not only that but they also used engine souls(err.... I mean CELLS) as bombs :buttrock:

I also saw what happened between Dillon and Summer towards the ending:anime:. Boy, Whale Zord & Gem and Gemma ruined it:shakefist:laugh:.

This was a pretty good episode. It seemed like there was a lot of information and action flying at us at the same time. Dr. K must be really smart to have Gem and Gemma just be able to insert a microchip and reprogram the machine like that.

Finally got to see Gem and Gemma morph, although it wasn't as epic as I thought it would be. I like their fighting style as well. I was actually going, "Oh crap" when the Doomsday device was firing on Corinth, Venjix almost succeeded right there. Goodbye Eddie, Hello Judd Lynn.

I really liked the episode. It felt kind of like a mini, half-way point finale, which was cool.

While I liked the idea behind the whole tension of Dillon having to decide whether or not to blow the factory, that whole sequence seemed a bit unclear to me. Did he need to be standing inside the factory while he detonated the charges? The staging seemed strange, but maybe I just need to watch it again.

Still, good stuff. The story and characters seem really well-established and I look forward to Judd Lynn taking the pilot's seat to bring the whole thing in for a safe landing.

This episode was incredible. I was just impressed by the music, the dramatic scenes. Did we actually get an intimate moment between Dillon and Summer? I almost believed they would kiss. That's good **** right there. Truly amazing. I will sorely miss Eddie.

Just finished the episode, and I gotta say its one of the best since the premiere. So many good things about it I can't even begin to describe.

5/5 all the way.

To think they were this close to kissing...TWICE!

Ya know... I figured out what bothers me about the RPM fights. I realised I'm always this close to just scream at the TV: USE YOUR FUCKIN' WEAPONS!!!

Seriously...Grinders show up and they start kicking and punching and throwing and doing more flips than Jean-Claude VanDamme at a gymnastic competition and it just drags on and on...

If this was the Go-onger Sousuke would have busted out the Street Saber and Saber Straight-ed half the mook after the first minute of fighting! the fight would have been noce nice, flashy and quick and leave time for antics, or in the case of RPM, real character drama. Just like with Dillon's memory the whole staging of his dilemma was horrible.

USE YOUR FUCKIN' WEAPONS DANGIT!!!

I hope they don't just drop that plot line about Dillon being infected by a virus! What happened to THAT nugget?!

But.. there's a limit to the suit's power supply, they've been pretty consistent with this. Why waste the big guns on the Grinders when you know you'll probably need them later?

Then at least use the Nitro Sword in sword mode. Those things can't be that taxing.

Plus on a purely meta stand point those fights are just too long to be entertaining after a point so ending thing with a bang wouldn't be a bad thing.
