There are many things about the past which have been kept secret from us, often these things are considered to shocking or too dangerous to know of and thus they are hidden and eventually fade into obscurity and are completely forgotten after a while. Our story brings us to one such event that took place hundreds of years ago in the Medieval era in Europe where corruption and immorality ran rampant, not because of low moral values of people but for something much more dark and sinister, a group of demonic entities collectively known as the Lucavi that had attached themselves to humans and amplified the darkness within their hearts. The Lucavi themselves ran rampant first attaching themselves to only common people while slowly working up their way through the class system taking nobles, religious figures and royalty. Corruption and wickedness spread through the land like a plague and when the darkness was powerful enough the Lucavi finally cast aside their human hosts and revealed their demonic forms, and under the leadership of a group of an elite group of Lucavi demons, known as the Zodiac 12, they began to run wild wreaking havoc and destruction across the land and were more than likely to conquer the entire world. That is until five pure hearted souls tained as knights rose up to face the Lucavi. Due to the fact that the light was so strong within them they were able to make short work of any Lucavi that challenged them and were able to reduce their numbers greatly in time before finally facing and defeating the Zodiac 12 themselves, thus saving the world from the dark influence of the Lucavi. The five were praised as heroes for many generations to come, but due to the fact that many religious organizations and members of the royal family were humiliated by the fact that they were controlled and corrupted by the Lucavi, the tale of the five knights was stricken from history and eventually faded into obscurity.
Fast forward a few hundred years into 2009, signs of the Lucavi's return have become apparent as more and more people continue to commit various acts much like they had during the first Lucavi invasion from ancient times. But there is one chance, one group that has preserved the tale of the five knights, one group that has been waiting and preparing, one group simply known as Project Knightmare. For generations this organization has existed and has dedicated themselves as preparing for the return of the Lucavi by preparing new weapons and armor for the descendants of the five knights who would eventually have to inherit the titles and mission of the five knights. And now with the Lucavi's presence becoming more and more apparent the time for the descendants of the five knights to use the arsenal prepared for them by Project Knightmare to face the Lucavi and defeat them once again, as well as unravel the mystery behind their sudden return.

4. Relationships are allowed but dont make the whole rp about it. Also if you play multiple characters they cannot be in a romantic relationship, and no instant romances, let it happen naturally, its much more interesting that way.

Arsenal:
Knightmare Crystals: While at first appearing to be mere crystals for decorative purposes, they are in reality sophisticated devices that use nanotechnology and preprogrammed sequences in order to materialize the Knightmare suits. Once in a transformed state the Crystal transforms into the ranger's sidearm the Knightmare Dagger.
Knightmare suits (Scoll up for their picture) : Knights need armor to protect themselves, this is a fact that has been known for generations, but as technology advanced Project Knightmare saw fit to use it in order to develop new armor for the descendants of the five knights. With the high tech resources available to Project Knightmare they were finally able to design suits that not only provided more protection than the original suits of armor used by the original knights but also allow for greater freedom of movement and speed.
Knightmare Weapons:
Modeled after the weapons used by the original five knights Project Knightmare has developed these new weapons with their new technology for maximum effectiveness and ease of use.
Red: Excalibur Mk.2
A lightsaber like weapon with a blade that can extend or retract for various situations.
Black: Earth Splitter
A mighty axe made of an indestructible alloy that can cleave through practically anything.
Yellow: Flash Scythe
A Scythe with a beam-blade similar to the one on the Excalibur Mk.2, can emit bursts of light to stun enemies while possesing all the innate abilities of a scythe.
White: Infinity Bow
A special bow that uses synthesized beam arrows, never runs out of ammo and can be fired rapidly
Blue: Burst Trident
A trident with the ability to manipulate water as a weapon while possessing the innate capabilities of a trident
Knightmare Armors:
Lucavi often tend to grow to massive proportions in desperate situations and those times were often difficult for the original five knights, thuse Project Knightmare designed five massive humanoid mechs to even the odds between the descendants and the Lucavi
Knightmare Armor 1, Blademaster:
Red's Knightmare armor the specializes in swordfighing. Is euipped with several beam sabers that are hidden in various places as well as two wrist mounted beam sabers, also posses a shield for defensive purposes.
Knightmare Armor 2, Shadow:
Black's Knightmare armor that possess an arm mounter shield which conceals several weapons and a rocket anchor on its othr wrist. It also posses the unique ability to become invisible.
Knightmare Armor 3, Radia:
Yellow's Knightmare armor whose special armor deflects most projectile attacks, posses two beam sabers as well as a series of barrier projectors which it can use to defend itself or others.
Knightmare Armor 4: Neptune:
Blue's Knightmare armor which can fight on land or under water. Uses a large trident in both modes as well as several additional weapons in its underwater mode
Knightmare Armor 5: Lunais:
White's Knightmare Armor which posses the unique Luna Ring system which allows it to convert light itself into a weapon or convert it into energy for itself or the other Knightmare Armors.

History: An understated genius who excels academically and practically rules all games of strategy, though when it comes to social interaction with others its a whole other story. Due to being wrapped up with studying in alot of his younger years he rarely went out and did things just for fun, which understandably left him with very few friends and poor social skills as he grew up and continued to become more and more solitary as he allowed himself to become completely drawn into books and video games while he distanced himself further an further from people. When he finally went off to college he continued to excel at various things that required an intellect like his but failed miserably in anything that required him to rely on other people, saying that they only weighed him down and that he would be better off without them. Despite that outlook though he proved on several occasions (mostly multiplayer games of HALO) that he was an ideal leader due to his intellect, as long as those under him obeyed the orders he gave them anyway. Unknown to him, he had been being observed throughout his entire life by Project Knightmare for the day when he would have to take up the mantle of his ancestor, the original Red Knight. Needless to say they were impressed by his intellect and strategic abilities, and with the Lucavi suddenly beginning to reappear he was exactly what they needed to face such cunning foes. And it wasnt long before they came to him and revealed to him what had transpired in those ancient times, and how he was the descendant of one of those heroes from the past. Much to their dismay he simply laughed in their faces, saying that such claims were little more than a ludicrous joke, and immdiatly just walked off and left them dissapointed. But they didnt give up easily and continued to pursue him and tried to convince them to take on his rightful role as the Lord of Blades and finally he agreed to at least see what it was they had done for him and the other four descendants, which he had not met at the time, and while being impressed with their whole operation still wasnt quite convinced to join them.
Finally though he was challenged to a game of chess by the head of Project Knightmare on the grounds that if Richard lost, he would join up, and is he won he would be allowed to leave and not be bothered again by them. It was a long tension filled game that went back and fourth between them, and much to Richard's suprise he had indeed lost. He conceded defeat and said that if there is someone with that kind of intelligence in charge that there must be some truth to this legend and thus he finally took up the mantle of Lord of Blades and became the Red Knightmare Ranger.
As a ranger he is the leader of team due to his strategic abilties and often leads the team into battle with his plans, but his somewhat arrogant attitude and tendency to criticize others he tends to rub people the wron way and often clash with the others. He isnt exactly an ideal teammate but he will get the job done, wether or not he will ever really get along with the others though is a mystery. He seems to have some sort of job outside of Project Knightmare but he is quite secretive about it, and unsuprisingly has chosen to to speak of it to any of his comrades.
