Keeping the count going we are 5 for 6 on original plots.
I’m a little late on the ball with this, so I’m keeping it short. Rose has been one of my favorites so far and I am glad we learn a little more about her, about how she has progressed rapidly in school and everything else her whole life and doesn’t really know how to cut lose and have fun.
The whole first half the episode didn’t even really seem to focus on Rose too much. That didn’t happen until Brown Beard took her body over. THEN it focused on her. Although after it got to that point, most of the plot during the episode felt a bit rushed in some aspects. Although I am glad they had Mack use his genetic powers, it is cool to know they are having them used instead of forgetting about them.
The whole thing with BrownBeard was cool, although when he posed Rose that part I didn’t really care for. I don’t know, although to me the acting on that part seemed really overboard like she was trying to hard. Although the fight was amazing!
The fight scenes were a good mix of Sentai footage and PR footage, which is always a good thing except for the over kill of explosions. Plus as far as Rose’s morphing sequence and fight goes, awesome! She is really proving why she is one of my favorites at the moment.
Also, I’m confused on something, did they use the Shark to take BrownBeard back to the island, or did they just use it to go back and see him? I ask cause, why use it to take him back to the island when he can obviously leave it at will, so he would be able to return to it?
Other than that though the episode was ok, had some good moments and not so good moments. Spencer was a little under used for my taste, but what little he was in the episode he was great as always.
I give it a C- though don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy watching it, but there are parts of it that felt off to me and thus lowered the grade.
