Thanks for clearing that up for me, The 2nd Evil. I really wish they would have kept that element of his character, allowing him to do some stories that aren't so damn goofy...I'm not really looking forward to next week, if you can't already tell (though I won't actually be able to watch the show for a few days cuz I'll be at the Final Four! :buttrock: )
Fine by me. Might not wanna include the part where I spazzed out over having to wake up at 8 am on a Saturday, though :laugh:
How was that episode a filler? It introduced the Fire Heart, which may go on to lead to that X-TREME Dragon toy thing, Nick's inevitable battilizer, Mystic Legend mode, or who knows what else! It could also end up like SPD's "73h 3\/4L"... but we don't know that yet. When it's all said and done, this episode could either turn out to have introduced a huge plot point in the Fire Heart, or it could be filler. We know that it will at least be mentioned one more time, because that scroll has been split up, and they made too big of a deal over that to not go back to it.
Quick question though - have there actually been any true filler episodes already? Last week's could kinda be considered one, but it gave the backstory for Catastros and explained why Koragg can use him, right?

I don't feel this episode is a filler. I enjoyed it alot. I just don't understand why this episode is absolutely filler. It was all about the Rangers to find something what the map said.

I'm starting to wonder if the Rangers could get half map back from Morticon and Necrolai in the future and then Nick get his Battlizer. I think that's too early. Maybe after Solaris Knight Ranger first appears.
EDIT: On other thought, probably Daggeron could help Nick to find the battlizer before any trouble starts out of control. That would be my theory. Even though, that probably won't happen.

The episode was'nt filler, by a margin, introducing the Fire Heart is the one clear excuse for that. Apart from that the episode was textbook, my own little term for an episode that introduces something relavant, but follows the basic core of the show by the numbers. You know, like "Final Face Off
" introducing the Ninja Ultrazord, and some of the NS episodes ending with a character death as an after thought
