-REALLY didn't like how the rangers got lazy all of a sudden, especially since they hadn't tried to use their magic wastefully since episode 2.
-Did like, however, the scene with Koragg and the barbarian beasts. Cool that Koragg doesn't like their lack of honor.
-Yay, two blatantly spliced zord battles!
-Fightoe and 50 below plotting to go after the master? Interesting.
-In the fight scene with Fightoe and 50 below, when they first run, Fightoe shoots at them. Big explosion. Then Daggeron jumps in the air. Another big explosion. Why the second? It just proves they're really getting out of hand with this stuff.
-Ooh, and they caught Jenji! Kind of shows that Daggeron is a bit of a pushover, doesn't it? What with him giving in to the others so easily.
-So, to get to the Tribunal of Magic, they have to go through all those that failed to do so. As Ethan would say, "That is so totally RPG!"
-Oh, God, FINALLY some unmorphed stunts! Where have they been all season? But then, why'd they keep slowing down Nick's kicks when they all missed?
-Nice to see they (sans Xander) weren't going to give up so easily by going through the first door. And Nick's words were spoken like a true leader. But then, why did he get so defensive when the Tribunal was asking him what happened? It WAS their fault, and you'd think after the scene earlier they'd be more willing to take responsibility for their actions, especially Nick. It might have been better if Xander was the one talking to the Tribunal, since he wanted to take the easy way out anyway.
-Hey, Leelee shows up just to be a plot device for freeing Jenji! Weak.
-So when they finally DO take responsibility for their actions they get legend mode? I'm not sure I like that they got rewarded for realizing they were being pricks, especially since they should have done it before, but whatever.
-And what the hell was with Fightoe ditching 50 Below so fast? Yeah, Legend mode was really powerful, but, damn, after how badass he was before, he sure got his balls cut off pretty fast. Although, I guess they both got what they deserved (50 Below being destroyed; Fightoe being sacrificed to power Ursus), for trying to destroy the master and all.
-What was the name of the new megazord? The captions didn't say, and I didn't hear it.
-This is a huge nitpick, but for all those people at the party, shouldn't they have made a bigger cake?
I really don't know how to rate this one. There were parts I liked, and parts that bugged me, and I'm kind of torn between a 7 and an 8. And since there's no 7.5, I'm kind of lost. I guess I'll give it an 8/10, just because it was a new concept and it was pretty cool.
