Power Rangers MegaForce 2013 - (Info in the First Post)

This is a joke right? You're just making a silly joke, right? You're not actually comparing a soldier following an order to assist in killing human beings to a tv show's story not having enough explanation for you, right?

Agreed. Not to mention, what is "not having enough explanation"? Right before the Dairanger sentai was shown, Gosei said "Powers never before seen on this planet." Right before. So, it would stand to reason that explanation would also work with any other Ranger we had never seen in previous Power Ranger seasons.

This show has problems, but not spoonfeeding the same explanation that was already given over and over isn't necesarily one of them.

...HAHAHAHA! YOU CAUGHT ME! IT WAS A JOKE! CRAZY OLD WACKY MASTA! NO WAY ANYONE WOULD SAY THAT SERIOUSLY!! *slowly backs out of room*

Any reason is a bullshit reason. They shouldn't be in Megaforce at all.

I'mma have to disagree with ya, brah. Saban has the rights to all of this so they can include anything they want into Super Megaforce. We all just wish there was somewhat backstory to these "new powers" instead of just having them there.

Has anyone noticed that their Megaforce forms are really useless ince they barely even use them? What's the point of keeping them if all they're gonna do is switch to Super Megaforce rangers.

Eh, I wouldn't say "we all"; I mean, that includes people like me who don't care too much. :V

Original footage, maybe? At least, that's the only reason I can think of.

They could include gore and curse words and give it a super dark plot. They could include nudity. That doesn't mean it's a good idea.

There empty "tributes" that have nothing to do with Power Rangers. You know not all PR fans actually watch Sentai. What's in it for them to see these suits? The whole point of these powers is to look back at the franchise but when you add in elements never used before what are you looking back on? You're not looking at Flashman or Maskman you just looking at...spandex. Look at the video Thunder025 posted two pages back. Would if of been so hard to do that? You'd have what 2 extra minutes you'd have to fill in with out of suit scenes or maybe even using the regular Megaforce suits a little more? But the worse part is the sad truth the truth that they just kept them in to avoid having to do any extra work when it comes to editing but during an anniversary season isn't it the point to put in a little extra work? To go a little above and beyond?

Okay change that. Most fans from what I've read want some form of explanation of the "new powers" instead of just seeing random suits.

I'm gonna assume that because honestly I see no point for them if they are gonna just go straight to super mode.

I wasn't saying anything of that sort since Saban is known for being kid friendly. I saw that video so yes they could of done that if they wanted to but since Saban wants to do more stuff with the Gokaiger footage like they are doing now, they can. All I'm saying is that if they want to use pre-Zyu teams to go above and beyond then put a little extra work into providing a little back story or explanation of that team or at least a name so we just don't see random spandex.

Honestly my biggest problem with Super Megaforce is the continued use of the Megaforce/Goseiger outfits. It comes off as a total pointless waste and really kills the pacing of each episode.

People were defending it before the show came out by saying Saban wanted to keep brand recognition with the kids. But all of the merch uses the Super Mega/Gokaiger suits EVERYWHERE, including appearances, and in the show itself the Megaforce suits just waste time until they go Super Mega. Hell, even in episode 3 the writer said "naw that's dumb" and had the characters ALL transform straight to Super Mega Mode.

I can kinda sorta see why Saban still used the Megaforce suits for a couple of episodes (even if in my opinion their Megaforce morphers should have been destroyed in the season finale). But at this point they're pointless from a pacing and editing standpoint and also from a story standpoint they simply aren't "strong enough" ever so why bother? Especially since they CAN just go straight to Super Mega?

And they waste more time and money filming original footage in the Megaforce suits for this lack of reasoning. If they wanted to film original footage they could easily have just used Super Mega/Gokaiger suits instead.

I just don't get it. I've been able to deal with some bad writing (it's not all bad though, really!) and lack of explanations for things, but every single time they pull out the Gosei Morphers I audibly groan.

This is my point right here! I don't understand why keep the suits and the morphers if they are only going to barely use it. I actually didn't mind them going straight to Super Megafoce in some episodes since hey proved they really don't need the Gosei suits. I guess probably to match up with some of the Gokaiger footage but I don't know. I honestly think keeping the suits is a waste of time and money. They could have gotten their old powers back by the keys and not use them long with the rest of them and kept their morphers destroyed.

Well stated! Gosei rules but I'm going to need his promo to diaf. It was cute last year but now it's just pathetic.
