It's all just really weird to me.
I'm not trying to hate on it! I'm really not! I'm still going to watch the next episode just to see if they say anything about the elephant in the room at all.
I'd accept any explanation for why there were pre-Zyu powers appearing. Gosei giving a passing explanation like he did for the DaiRanger powers, telling us that the nameless ranger powers are in flux and always changing their appearance, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I was going to comment some nice things on the episode. I was going to comment on their use of original footage and choreography. I was going to thank them for keeping Prince Vekar's injury in the story. Sure, they called it a paper cut even though there was no paper involved, and the blood was blue, but it was still there along with the scene where he is wearing a black bandage wrap over it! But now, I'm just...
All I want it clarity. Those who don't care say just laugh it off, it's a kids show, stop thinking about it too much. I really hate that kind of thinking though. Is that what it has come to? Has keeping the continuity become an occasional reward rather than the standard?
Can I join you? I'll make signs and stuff. We could sing a Super Sentai song as our revolution march.

I really want to love Mega Force, I really do. But for some eerie reason, this series is a gonna pull a Masked Rider one way or another. Nah, seriously. I just hope for some damage control. Even if you bring old cast back, that can only do so much.
At least Akibaranger had its reasons.
PS: Preferably, Maasaki Endo sing the MMPR theme as the march theme...or maybe a Sentai song sung by Ron Wasserman
