Power Rangers MegaForce 2013 - (Info in the First Post)

Great news, she's got a good amount of work under her belt too. Looking forward to her, I'm leaning on her making it.

According to Mr.Yellow and others on RC. They have casted the Megaforce rangers. They just don't know who all of them are.

P.S. Only one we know for sure has been casted as Yellow is Ciara.. We also know an african american has been casted according to Sundai Love tweets. Also she is out because appearntly according to her they have a 1 african american rule.

Are you sure Ciara is offcial now? Just earlier today is was just a strong assumption.

Plus you lost me at the 1 African rule thing, I don't understand.

Sundai Love tweeted she was out of runing. They told her she was great, but they couldn't cast her, because they already had one african american and didn't want 2. Yes,Ciara is official. Go here for details..

What..I really wanted Sundai to get the role, there were so much talks about her. Here I was imagining that one day they can easily have 2 African Americans on a team, but this kinda hurts.

This would be no biggie to me, but like Aoi said they weren't gender specific. I def. lost some, well a lot of respect for Saban just now.

Apparently Nickelodeon execs aren't even showing any signs of disagreements about Saban's decision either..........and they're overseeing this casting process.

Then again, I don't ever remember the last time a Nick show was ever racial diversified

I'm not in the least bit surprised about Sundai not getting cast for her skin color. The industry is a business first of all. At least the casting director was honest about it. There has always been a token black on the team depending on the season when one was cast. Of course a black male would be favored over female because of the target demographic. This is probably one of the reasons why Brittany Batchelder wasn't cast as the Pink Samurai Ranger.

Sometimes I wonder if Disney would've cast more than one black person on a team if more had tried out? From one of the casting calls I've seen a few years ago, they were encouraging African-Americans to audition.

'All That' is probably the most diverse show they ever had (before the relaunch in 2002). They also had predominately non-white shows like 'Taina', 'Kenan & Kel', 'The Brothers Garcia', and 'My Brother and Me'...I was a huge Nickelodeon fan back in the day.
