Power Rangers Jungle Fury - Can't Win Them All [Talk Up!]

It was alright. I still can't get out of the rut of constantly comparing PRJF to Geki though. Causes me to be a bit biased towards Geki...:disappoin

I'm not gonna do a full review, but I will say that that episode was so... not good. And JF was off to such a good start.

Everything in this ep seemed so forced and contrived, like Theo being such a master at flipping the pizzas when he was so terrible at it a few episodes ago. And I get that even the most confident rangers doubt themselves at times, but they really turned Theo into a whiny little bitch. Considering that he's supposedluy such a perfectionist, it would've been a MUCH better plot had he tried to train harder to beat the monster next time instead of giving up on the world like that. Especially since he told Casey not to get to down about losing just two episodes ago. I mean, really, did the writers just forget about that?

Also, Flit still sucks. And Fran hasn't done anything of note since the premiere. Is she the new Piggy?

Anyway, the past two episodes have been really bad, but I'm not ready to give up on the show just yet. I could chalk these up to just being "off days." Hopefully they'll get back to the premiere-quality eps next week. Hopefully.

2/5

I enjoyed the episode but again, you do a great job pointing out glaring flaws in the writing.

It really did feel forced the way Theo threw a fit. It wasn't even that big of a loss. I like the part where Theo bumps into Fran near the register and she yelps.

Again, I enjoyed the episode. But the writing has incredible problems. We have seasoned writing vets on this team and we can't get a competent episode. That scares me. I love how they are using the theme song again in battles and megazord battles. It was very nice to hear it at the end.

I'm giving it 4 out of 5. Frickin' awesome, but two problems:

1. Theo's training was pretty short. I guess it's just me. Could've a lot better.
2. Need more Dai Shi scenes.

RJ is awesome and insane crazy. Dai Shi/Jarrod is badass, SO FAR. Seems pretty serious main villain. I like it a lot! Flit is funny. :)

Loved the fight scenes with NZ footages! Thanksfully, no huge explosives! Whew.

Great episode!

I actually picked up the character dynamics running through the episode. Casey and Lily trying to cheer him up didn't seem out of character at all.
Theo's reaction isn't that strange when you think about perfection nuts hate to make mistakes and Theo making any kind of mistake shatters his world. Hopefully this won't be like Taylor though and done all for nothing.

I gave it a 4.

I really liked it, but it was just missing that...something that could have made it outstanding.

The unmorphed battle was one of the better ones in recent years. RJ dancing was... weird, but the pep talk/ training with Theo was nifty.

I had vibes of season one with this episode, not sure way.

RJ must have done something REALLY terrible to be this weird. I imagine this peace deal is all because he was kicked out of school for being to violent or something like that.

Nice episode but what i found stupid was.

Rj: Not his dance but after he danced he tell theo how he saw how theo get be beaten by Gakko. Really just rub it in Rj nice done. (I wish mao was still alive)

Gakko: He Said I'll Get you Blueranger and your littlefriends!!!

Okay Who was little again??? Geez disney nice series to watch but what they're saying doesn't make sense.

Well remember, Theo's NOT a perfectionist.

He's a show-off, which is a different animal entirely. Remember in the very first episode during his fight, his style of fighting is very flashy and very over the top compared to Jerrod's (who is more of a perfectionist). They even give him Jann's little move from DOA as a nod to what sort of character he is.

And as a rule in fiction series, characters that are over the top and flashy, generally have low self-esteem and can be quite easily prone to sulking.
