I think they're just pulling random scripts out of Gokaiger and putting place holder things on them. They want to get an idea what the characters will be like. I doubt they'll use Dairanger and Goranger-Jetman in the final version.
If you were to the "talking Engines" from Go-Onger, then no. You see in Turboranger, their vehicles were just regular vehicles that can be called by voice control. Same for Carranger, but Go-Onger have the vehicles that had minds of their own.

Oh, you mean the Lightning Cruiser and the Storm Blaster?! Yeah I remember those. It would be nice to see them again for the next Power Rangers season.

My question was if they came from Turboranger or Carranger...
Edit: Carranger. Also, I found this little tidbit about phantom ranger:
Shuki Levy's original pitch for the character was that he was to represent an embodiment of the spirits of fallen Power Rangers of the past as a "Ghost Robot" (a concept affirmed by Jackie Marchand and Tony Oliver). The concept was not unlike the Sentai character, AkaRed, a representation of past Red Rangers of the Super Sentai franchise.
So yea, if anyone phantom ranger would replace AkaRed's role (as well as explain anything proceeding Zyuranger....)
I really do hope that they use the Gokaiger series as an excuse to tie up loose ends & fill in as many of the plotholes as they can. We could finally get answers for a lot of the crap that didn't make sense.
Also, since they used most of the stuff from Dairanger (all the zords, white ranger, etc) I wonder if they might try to use the suits & say that they were the original Power Rangers?
I started to wonder about that lately. I wonder if they actually will announce the new season at the Licensing Show this time. Super Samurai is considered to be a different season, yet they didn't even announce that.
