In the casting scripts for the actors they're names for TWO Ranger teams "Star Force" and "Mega Force" (working titles) so like I said, we may get both. Point is, Saban is putting A LOT of money into their 20th Anniversary. And we all know how cheap Saban is, Power Rangers haven't had nearly this much attention since the 90's. If they wanted to let the series die they would have after Disney killed it, but obviously Power Rangers has the potential to be just as historic as Super Sentai so be happy Saban brought it back. And besides what's the point of addapting a series just to do a **** job on it? So you can fan boy rage on how much it sucks and how Saban is "fucking your childhood"? It would make more since to skip that series to do a better job on the other. That's money and time wasted on a rushed series that could have been good.
Yeah, I mentioned that about Jetman.

I think your detector is broken is "broken". Checking the surrounding area for sarcasm emissions in the past 24hrs... I'm not getting any readings, I think your equipment is a little out dated.
What's a Hidden Masta mask? "seriously curious, not being insulting."
There was attempts to bring Sentai into america in the 80's, one example being Dynaman.
But I don't think you understand the term "
adaptation". Adaptation means to take one thing and make it suitable for another. Saban didn't adapted Dairanger or Kakuranger, they simply used their footage to extend their
adaptation of Zyuranger. If you watch Zyuranger, various episodes are similar to Power Rangers, even if the over all look and feel of the show is completely different. Saban planed to end Power Rangers at the episode "Dooms Day" but ordered Toei to make additional footage in the fashion of Power Rangers and before they could use up all the footage, they butcher-edit the Zyu2 Zord fights and added in the Thunder Megazord early. No series theme or story lines were used from Dairanger. As for Kakuranger, I guess you can say it had a "minor" adaptation seeing the theme was used and maybe 2 or 3 story elements out of a 50 episode series (still a no in my book).
But in the last 10 episodes of Power Rangers Season 3, the Alien Rangers WERE the main team. Even the title of the show was changed during that time. They can't be a secondary team if the first team is not around to begin with. The Earth Rangers were powerless children for a whole 10 episodes. And if you go back and watch season 3 of Power Rangers, you will notice Pink Ranger was always distracted because going into the Shogunzord footage, there was only 5 Zords. Once Kat came in the picture, both Shogun and Ninjazords were active so there was no problem putting Pink Ranger back into the picture. White Ranger filled the roll for Ninja White, it's kinda obvious with his connection with Delphine.
