Photoshop Tutoring

I've found some handy ones, but what kind of techniques can did you come up with? Like with cloud rendering, glass effects, lighting, and others can you teach me? I'm trying to get the hang of things. Like how Takuya makes his banners, what kind of brushes/accessories do I need? And text editing too.

Techniques, eh?

Well, it's all learned in time. Take it slowly, follow some tutorials but don't be afraid to deviate according to your own style. Just mess around; I know there's a lot of messing to do, and I doubt anyone knows all of the possibilites of Photoshop.

I'll give an example...the banner in your sig. I made it using brushes in the background and a color layer. I popped the renders in and added a few tech brushes (you can download all these brushes). For text editing, everything you need is in Photoshop (except fonts, which you'll need to download). I added scanlines to the banner as well, which I thought made it look better.

That's a good question you got there, but I don't have an actual answer, I'm kinda wondering the same thing, & like in your Kabuto sig, how do you get all 3 pictures there & them show up good & look like they fit so perfectly, that's something I wonder about.

You need a photo editing program. And then you need skillz that killz. :thumbs:

There are some great cloud and graphics rendering tutorials on deviantart, if that'll help~
Otherwise.. just play around with the program. You might discover some cool technique <3
