Hrm. Talked to someone who's seen discussion on the scanned article elsewhere and he claims it says that it's talking about characters they DIDN'T include in the final version for some reason or another and mentions nothing at all about DLC.

We got any translators in the house that can verify either way?

Regardless of the article this interview confirms that they are planning to have those characters as DLC if Nintendo gives the okay.

Actually, I was just thinking that the other day. I said to my self..."huh you know what, I haven't actually read the scan giving any confirmation to Mr.Wright's addition to the game and I also remembered earlier that they said that they would release a TvC development book with exclusive art for Phoenix wright's addition for the game (Which they do for every game). But I can verify that it's not a confirmation. It's just a page of Capcom's scraped plans for Phoenix Wright and Ingrid. So the title is a lie, not intentionally but it's a lie.

There's a word for that, it's called being incorrect. But only partially incorrect.

And like what was already stated, the magazine isn't need for confirmation of the four DLC characters. We already have an interview stating they will be DLC as soon as Nintendo gives the green light.

I've been itching for Speed or at least one of the Pizza Cats to make appearances.

I've heard that the official reason is "We can't think of what Speed's moves would be," but unofficially I believe hearing somewhere that the Wachowski's movie has the US Speed Racer rights tied up.

Apparently Capcom USA asked for the Pizza Cats and Tatsunoko refused to clear them for inclusion. Maybe it's not a show Tatsunoko is particularly proud of, who knows.
