BEHOLD PERRY THE PLATAPUS, MY VERY OWN THREAD REPLY-ANATOR!
This show is just so crisp with it's humour and it has stacks of jokes that are more for adults than kids, they also reference internent memes like CSI: Miami's "Yeeaaahh" and Lolcats. I also find their characterisations of mixed familys (The Flynns), and divorcees (the Doofensmirtzs) pretty gutsy for a kids show. The soundtrack of the series is right up there with the classic numbers from Family Guy and The Simpsons, fortunatly you can find them all on Youtube. I love me some Love Handle.
Candace is hilarious, she's completly batshit insanely obsessed with busting her brothers, but remarkably has the boy of her dreams and a good life always waiting for her, so you kind of root for her every time she fails to bust them, still I love the episodes where she shows she does love them, like the Birthday episode, that was a cute one. I was always a bit miffed the "Little Brothers" song from "At Last" was dreamt up by Perry and not Candace (which is kind of disturbing).
I've got way too many Doofensmirtz episodes to rattle off as my favourates, but I love the one where he dumps Perry for Peter Panda, then assembles all the secret agents together for a "Jerry Springer" show takeoff only to trap them all.
I loved the episode where Phineas' mom finally found one of their inventions lying in the street and mistook it for public art:laugh:
I also love that their father knows about their wacky inventions but is generally either too dumbfounded to care or thinks their mother gave them approval.
Definatly one of the best Disney cartoons, and the best currently airing. Looking forward to the movie this August.
