Overrated and underrated sentai series

Daichi I think is an okay character. He does have a few cool moments in the series. But I don't think his personality is as fleshed out as the other four heroes. He's likable, but I wouldn't say he's as unique as the other four imo.

The most overrated Super Sentai series is undoubtedly Dengeki Sentai Changeman. The main characters have no personality and Commander Ibuki is a complete asshole. As a matter of fact, he's the true villain, as he led the Gozma Tribe to Earth after they destroyed his home planet. Also, what's with the sports bras over spandex as their suits?

Oh yeah, Changeman fans need to lighten up. I mean, if people hate Shinkenger, Dekaranger or Gokaiger, but that's their thing and I won't hold that against them. Changeman fans, on the other hand, have a tendency to go ballistic on people who simply don't like the show.

As for underrated Super Sentai series, definitely Battle Fever J. Behind the silly-looking costumes and the ridiculous dances is an excellent cast of characters with great personalities and a badass commander.

I'll grant that Ibuki is not my favorite mentor, but I don't see how he could have led the Gozma to the Earth considering that it wasn't until right near the end that the Gozma realized Ibuki wasn't an Earthling in the first place.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I won't go ballistic; I'll just pity you, for there is obviously a hole in your soul that keeps you from experiencing true narrative satisfaction and joy.

I am of course being facetious, you are free to feel about any show however you feel about that show.

Most overrated in my opinion-

Goukaiger - Ok, Some people must love riding Marvelous's Dick or something cause This show was pretty disappointing to me and doesn't really deserve all the praise it gets, Possibly the only thing i liked out of it was Luka and seeing some legends, But that still didn't help the fact that the show was rather stale.

Shinkenger - Till today I still don't see what is so great about it.

Gekiranger - Ok show to me, Doesn't really live up to what fans make it out to be.

Timeranger - Ok, I'll admit a good show when i see one, and Timeranger is definitely one of them, but it is severely overrated considering it had a lot of problems.

Jetman - I love this show as much as the next guy, but it really isn't that outstanding.

Underrated -

Megaranger - When i say underrated i mean underrated and Megaranger is the first candidate for this name, I seriously don't know why some people don't like this show, but to me, It had a lot of great storylines, Villains and heroes.

Goseiger - Don't get me started on this one, Goseiger really isn't as bad as fans make it out to be, I watched the whole season including the specials and stuff and Its actually one of my favourite sentai shows yet.

Dynaman - You don't quite hear people talking about this show, but it really isn't that bad, i will admit that there is pretty much 30 episodes of nothing there but it has some really great Heroes and villains.

Goggle V - Good show, Nuff said.

Underrated -

Megaranger - When i say underrated i mean underrated and Megaranger is the first candidate for this name, I seriously don't know why some people don't like this show, but to me, It had a lot of great storylines, Villains and heroes.

A lot of people tend to just describe Megaranger as "That season with the Nejiranger arc." So a good portion of Megaranger does tend to get ignored or forgotten, which is a shame. Megaranger has a great cast with fun storylines that revolve around an amazing theme.

Jetman: there's a lot to it that's really good, but the love triangle and Gai Yuki's tendency to be a colossal tool for so much of the series, and that awful epilogue. Also, Radiguet is kind of a lousy villain when you consider how many times he basically saves the Jetman team; they should have just given him a big ol' hug and invited him to party with the rest of them at the end of the series.

Dairanger: Jin was a lousy rival and a boring villain, and the whole thing with all the villains being clay dolls was so nonsensical it retroactively saps the series of a bit of its strength.

Timeranger: There was just a ton of filler to it, you could have told the same story with a quarter to a third fewer episodes and nothing would have been lost.

Shinkenger: To go by the TVtropes page, every time a character farts it is like unto a period epic with stoicness and grace. Seriously though, stoic nigh-perfect reds are not automatically better.

Gokaiger: The fanservice was great and really well done, but the villains were just too weak for this to truly be a keeper.

Underrated.

Gingaman: This one had that whole stupid rumor about Lost Galaxy getting better ratings over in Japan, not to mention people being dismissive over the acorn fairy who actually gets very little screen time all told.

Goseiger: While I agree that the show has plenty of weaknesses, most people focus on superficial things like Alata not being "manly enough" and so they miss out on some good moments here and there.

He's just trolling. He says in one sentence he is ok with people not liking a list of shows, and in the next sentence he is saying how awful changeman fans are and how he won't put up with them liking it. That is what trolling is.
