Hurricaneblue/Nanami; overrated female sentai warrior

Sounds like there could have been communication mix-up in that interview. (Or, worst case scenario, Nao's just a big old liar.)

Yuuki Ono was the main suit actress -- she's done ton of interviews about it, it's well known. That interview just makes Nao sound like she's taking all of the credit -- when, giving her the benefit of doubt, she's thinking about those open-visor scenes, which doesn't make her the suit actress, especially since all three of them opened their visors like that and never did any action when their face was seen.

The only actors who did their own stuff in-suit -- Kenji Ohba, Jun'ichi Haruta, Koji Unoki. And these three are JAC guys, not 17 year old idols. How can anyone really think a 17 year old idol would really be doing the action?

I'm sure both Yuuki Ono and Nagasawa Nao were the suit actresses for Hurricane Blue. It isn't uncommon to have multiple actors for the same character. Also, it seems that Nao has a martial arts background so even if she is not a trained stunt actress, at least she can do a few moves in the suit without looking like an idiot.

Was Ohba the suit actor in both Gavan the show and the Gokaiger crossover?

Ohba supposedly only was Gavan in-suit for the first few episodes. (Jun Murakami was Gavan's main suit actor.) Gokaiger VS Gavan used a newer, young JAE guy, Kousuke Asai.

Then why is this English interview the ONLY place that ever mentioned Nagasawa being in-suit? Wouldn't it have been common knowledge ever since Hurricanger aired in '02? Wouldn't Yuuki Ono have mentioned this in her many interviews about playing Hurricane Blue? Does it make sense that Nanami rarely ever fought out of suit, so why would Nagasawa be doing in-suit action? Does it make sense with how jam-packed schedules are nowadays, they'd inconvenience themselves and eat up time by having a performer be in-suit, too?

Well I found this some days ago...

I have the issue of Toei Hero Max with that photo and there's a caption by Nao where she says that it's from episode 23 where all five of them played Magerappas. That doesn't mean she, Shun Shioya, Kouhei Yamamoto, Nobuo Kyou or Yuujiro Shirakawa should be called suit actors.
