Its the mascot form of the series and his main form so I guess its alright for it to get a song.

Well, the Dinosaur Greed obviously wasn't sealed with the others, so we don't know anything about his history.

And while we're on the subject of forms, why is Tatoba treated as a form like the others (in that it's given its own song in the belt) when it's really a Combo?

The components of the Tatoba form all have a gold lining on their chest emblem that's missing from the other pieces. Look at the complete green form. There's a gold lining on the inferior part of the emblem, while it's green everywhere else. I don't know what that means, but it's pretty obvious those three medals are meant to be used together.
