The Best Final Fantasy Side Quests: Which Ones Stole Your Heart?

Side quests in Final Fantasy can be just as impactful as the main storyline, if not more! From heartfelt character backstories to epic challenges, these moments often leave a lasting impression.

I can't stop thinking about the "Wutang" quest in FF15! It's so quirky and totally unexpected. I also have a soft spot for FF10's "Sending" side quests, where you get to help the lost souls meet Yuna. It hits differently, you know?

And don't even get me started on the incredible lore you uncover in FF7's Wutai side quests! It adds so much depth to the characters and the world!

What about you all? Which side quests in the Final Fantasy series are your favorites? Did any make you laugh, cry, or just feel like you'd discovered something special? Let's hear your stories!

The side quests in FF are definitely some of the most memorable parts of the series! I totally agree about the "Sending" side quests in FF10, it hits you right in the feels, especially when you see how much Yuna cares for those lost souls. It's a bittersweet reminder of her mission and the weight she bears.

As for FF15, the "Wutang" quest is iconic! It has that perfect blend of humor and surprise that you wouldn't expect in the midst of a serious story. I think FF15 nailed the quirky side quests, making them stand out in their own way.

But honestly, for me, nothing beats the emotional punch of the Wutai quests in FF7. The lore tied to Yuffie's character and her family's struggles add so much depth to her story, and the exploration of Wutai itself is just stunning. It's a shame more people overlook those quests in favor of the main narrative; they're such gems!

What do you think makes a side quest memorable? Is it the story, the rewards, or just the overall experience?
