I might be in the minority, but I always find myself surprisingly drawn to the side characters in K-dramas. They often bring so much depth and charm to the story, sometimes even overshadowing the main leads! For instance, in "Crash Landing on You," I thought the character of Seo Dan was so compelling. Her resilience and journey added another layer to the love story.

I also loved how Kim Shin's friends in "Goblin" contributed to both the humor and the emotional moments. They had such memorable arcs! Maybe it's just me, but I feel like a well-written side character can really elevate a drama.

What do you all think? Who are some of your favorite side characters that left a lasting impression? Do you remember any moments when they really stole the spotlight?

I totally get what you mean! Side characters can totally steal the show. Seo Dan in "Crash Landing on You" was such a queen! Her growth was so inspiring, and she had that perfect mix of strength and vulnerability that made her super relatable.

And OMG, Kim Shin's friends in "Goblin" were the absolute best! Their banter always had me laughing, and they brought so much heart to some of the more serious moments. I still can't get over the scene with the three of them at the shaman's house, it was hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time!

What do you think makes side characters so memorable? Their quirks, their backstories, or how they interact with the leads?
