I'm sure Jackson's upset about this cause in every interview I read he seemed pretty geeked about playing Fury. Well it hasn't been completely shot down who knows maybe They'll pull something out of their ass and get to keep Samuel L.
As for Howard from what I read the man wanted too much money for the sequel and the studio wasn't willing to cave for it. His behavior was on and off camera was also an issue too as I recall. I have no issue with Cheadle who knows he may do a bang up job. We'll have to see. It's not the first time we've seen a role replaced and it certainly won't be the last. Just be greatful it's not Robert Downey Jr. being replaced.
I always like Cheadle's roles, and I think he's a great actor, but I agree with Keitih that he doesn't immediately strike me as the heroic type. He's a really good actor though, I've got faith that he can pull off the role, despite our grumblings.
Ican see that but imo having someone that well known in the marvel flicks is nothing but a good thing  & I too would rather have had the same guy playing rhodes unlike Nick who only had a couple seconds this guy had as much air time as ironman him self ... seeing someone else play his role is just going to be out right strange ...
I guess they had it with that Muthafuckin' Jackson as their Muthafuckin' Nick Fury
Seriously though, that's really lame. As sick as I am of the movies taking all of their inspiration from the Ultimate universe, I really wanna see Sam Jackson back in the role of Fury.
