just let the alien franchise die...its been raped long enough...having the space jockey being unknown still adds the cool factor to it.

look what happened to star wars..everyone wanted prequels to know more about Anakin/Obi Wan etc and then it didn't even live up to the hype...

I could not be happier. If I'm gonna have a new Alien movie, I want something further in the saga. None of this prequel bullshit.

Not at all. Personally, the only film in the series that I really give a damn for is the original ALIEN anyway. Besides, shouldn't we be cheering originality in Hollywood instead of lambasting it?
