Alien Prequel Trouble?

the bit that bothers me is this:

"The other month emerged reports that Scott and Fox had come to disagreements over the film's budget and tone - Scott wanted a big budget and R rating, Fox wanted a cheaper PG-13 effort.."

This doesn't shock me.

As long as the blu-ray release has all of the cut **** then I'm happy.

AVP and AVP-R were supposed to be rated R aswell.

I really don't want this to happen at all.

Dude, do you not understand that this was suppose to happen from day 1?. The movie is about the Space Jockey from Alien and the birth of the Xenomorphs. This movie HAD to happen eventually. Plus it can't get any worse than Alien Resurrection which itself wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.

AVP-R was rated R.

Was it?. I thought Predators had more violence.
