The mention of pulpy sci-fi wargames takes me back to my days of playing "War of the Worlds" tabletop. We had such a blast staging epic battles against Martians, complete with tripods and heat rays. Nothing beats the thrill of coming up with outrageous alien tactics to outsmart the players, and it made for some truly memorable sessions!
