Land Galaxy just looks plain ridiculous. Not
"cool" ridiculous...just "ridiculous annoying".
I don't get where you're coming from here. What's ridiculous? It's less ridiculous than something like Time Shadow, GaoIcarus or KillerOh.
Am I remembering Sirender right? 'Cause I'm thinking of Signalman's mecha. Hilarious character, but I didn't care for his mecha.
It essentially could pass for a Cybertronian. I don't see the big deal.
And Tackle Boy? You're defending Tackle Boy?
Why not? I don't think it or OhBlocker were necessary additions but design-wise, what's the problem? Some of you people are really finicky...
That doesn't mean it's not true.
It doesn't really make sense for them to use the same weapons after powering up. They should use the same theme but more advanced versions.
That can work for the arsenal. But I still don't think it's really necessary for the mecha. Sometimes, ok. But not always.
I say Sentai should follow the Jetman example and have a three robo maximum. That's all.
The Liveman have a loooooooooong way to go before I consider them anything close to awesome.
Well that's because you have no taste

(But I should shut up before garfield has me arrested or something...)
Any serious feat they ever managed involved "Aura Power". Not in a "Glow like Leroy" sense though, no--if they were more impressive, more brutal fight scenes while the Maskman glowed, that would be different. Maskman though just has glowy colors fired at the villain.
Yeah.... because Aura Power was what they used to fight. Of course they're going to use it. That should be obvious. Are you complaining that Gekiranger's heroes and villains constantly used Geki and Rin Wazas in battle, some of which were clearly silly?
*shrugs* I didn't think he fit the theme, but they went for that anyway.
How does it not fit the theme?
Honestly? It doesn't. It's just a sort of "cherry on top" thing. Go-Onger is awful, but at least Go-On Silver is beautiful. I still gave up on it, but the eye candy wasn't bad.
Dyed hair, G3 Princess extraordinaire Miu is attractive, but Momoko isn't?
Deka and Bouken made their "case by case" plot work for them--they were written to be like that.
Case by case may have worked for a concept like Deka, not it made no sense in Bouken. Deka's police setting makes sense for a loosely connected episodic pace. (Though given the way the Alienizer was handled, as far as I understand it, a more structured villain organization may have been more sensible.)
I still say you should give the show a examination. It really seems like you've developed some kind of weird hatred for this show.
