The only real way to tell it was Megatron was because of the scale. Meg's is BIGGER then anyone else including Prime.

And GF Soundwave.... eh, not a good toy. Arm Kibble, bad legs, you can see his head if you flip it over, not good posability... Only good part was Laserbeak.

I meant on the show. Making him a stealth bomber is a neat idea, much better than any other update proposals I've heard.

Oh and about Japanese TF shows... I heard Star Saber from Victory was pretty badass. At the end of the show he goes alone in the Destron base and starts killing them all oO Now THAT's a leader. Also the Japanese got a good idea with Prime...it's a lot more heroic for him to be a firetruck than some cargo pulling semi or something.

I'm gonna assume that means you bought him rather than just look at images. I disagree, I LOVED the GF soundwave figure, imported it the day it came out. but to each thier own. But yes Lazerbeak WAS the best part of the toy.

I myself only have the 'Legends' micro-figure of Cybertron Soundwave I considered buying him but I couldn't find him once I had money.

Oh well... I still got myself a Cybertron Primus at half price in clearance

Remember the original G1 Optimus Prime was HEAVILY, HEAVILY based off of the character type that gave birth to Captain America and Superman. He's a reluctant warrior, who values the life and freedom of other sentient beings.

The current incarnations of Prime are far more willing to resort to violence and level a given area. I mean compare G1 Prime's personality to GF's Prime, throw in Rodimus and Primal in there. There's a distinct difference between how the Japanese write their characters vs. how the West does. He just doesn't feel like Prime to me.

And Prime as a firetruck, I like as in RiD. Prime as a Firetruck that you would NOT call unless you wanted it to BLOW YOUR HOUSE AND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD UP AND LEVEL THE SURROUNDING AREA, I don't like.
