I've been saying that as a standalone movie Transformers will probably be good. But it's comparible to the SMB movie as far as relation to the original series, and a lot of people are gonna be pissed by it. But I liked the SMB movie.

the movie to me, looks okay, but there isn't anything about it that says 'transformers' aside from the name.
Thank you. Suddenly, after the big uproar about the robot designs cooled down, I found myself being one of the few who actually believe that.

they just look more 'alien' then Transformer if that makes any sense to me, at any rate.
