New TMNT Movie Coming

Can't wait to see this movie! I really liked the CG TMNT movie from Imagi, but will this be better? Only time will tell.

The kiddies saw Watchmen and The Dark Knight, they'll probably watch a violent TMNT and go in assuming it wont be violent.

Also the nostalgia critic is a terrible unfunny critic, an example of his bad criticism includes ranting on a children's cartoon for having cartoon world physics (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, he complained that it wasn't realistic) and immediately deeming a show as crap just because it uses his name (Doug). He's better off as the Bum if you ask me.

you are right parents are fucked now days what am I thinking :loltongue:

To be fair, the fans who complained about the 2002 series didnt just spend hours on boards rambling about it, He-Man.org's webmaster ran his own comic company and spent months writing a title which was closer in tone to what they wanted when the animated series stopped giving them what they wanted.

Title (and the company) tanked like a bitch eventually, but their Snake Men-era portion was better than the second season of the series.

That guys an idiot. I love how if something isn't exactly how someone remembered it as a kid it suddenly = crap. He obviously hasn't followed the Turtles throughout the years and can't seem to grasp that it's been introduced to a new audience of children who, likely, know more about them then he thinks he does. He wants an explanation and back story for every single thing in the film, yet if we did the movie would be incredibly long. Who needs an extensive back story for the Turtles themselves anyways? Everyone knows who the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are.

Except the TMNT movie was supposed to go along with the live action movies. Doesnt establish Kurai, doesn't fully explain wy the turtles are in the situation they are in, and its just a film that doesnt grab anyone outside of the TMNT fandom. which is what kills fan-based movies. If you want a successful film, you need to get in touch with the entire audience. Not just the smaller margin of it.

TMNT was a terrible movie in my opinion. If you disagree with the guy thats fine but he has valid points against TMNT. You shouldn't dismiss them just because you don't want to hear him bad mouth it.

I liked Adventures of Sonic too but if you want to see that it made sense and that he's talking a load of crap then you havent watched it in a while. the man has a point. Cartoon physics or not, some of the **** in that cartoon was nuts.

for one, you aren't supposed to take the guy seriously. Most of his rants are just for comedy. Second... don't take it seriously. Seriously.

Why can't people take criticism against the shows they love? I loved Ferngully as a kid but I still laughed my ass off at this guys review. I liked Moonwalker and he destroyed it and he made valid points.

If this guy ranted about Transformers I would likely enjoy it. Even though I love that movie.

You're talking about the fans complaining about He-man right? (assuming because you mention Heman.org )

You know, I never did understand why fans disliked the new series. I thought it was fantastic. I mean the animation was great, the character designs were very faithful to the original (except for Cringer talking). What was not to love? I need to check out that website and see if anyone can really explain it.

Yes the **** in AoSTH was nuts, really nuts, but thats too be expected for a children's cartoon. Bagging a children's cartoon for having children's cartoon elements is the same as bagging on Smallville because it has DC Characters for example. His point is invalid.

I don't take him seriously and usually his jokes aren't funny. He's trying to mix his opinion with what he thinks is funny. So I try to analyze his opinion through his bad jokes. His puns are pretty funny though. And sometimes he is serious with those "Top 10" lists.

Oh I can take criticism against the shows I love, don't feel like you're special now. Like lets take new Doctor Who for example, I like it but I know its loaded with terrible writing, awkward plot development, mary sueing, self insertion, and other crap. Its just no matter what the show is whether is a good show, crappy show, show I like, show I dislike, I speak up against poor criticism.

The new he-man series was pretty good, but I just hated the "By the power of greyskull" call. The original series voice actor made is sound so much more intense.

Definitely, i didnt care for the voice actor much at all. His Adam voice was ok, but nothing special for He-Man...especially the transformation call.

.....aaaaannnnd we're off topic, lol.
