Need a New Hard Drive.

Depends on sales. ;)

Best Buy, Circuit City, etc, etc tend to have weekly sales. Local computer stores tend to have slighty higher prices then big box places but on the upside is that they typically offer a better warranty then big box stores.

The best thing to do is shop around. Look up prices online and compare, compare, compare.

Having said all that. NewEgg.com does have some really good prices that rival that of wholesale dealers. I've seen stuff on NewEgg where the prices were actually LESS then our wholesalers' prices.

I'd use either Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com. I've heard some people say not to order from Tigerdirect, but when I was building my computer, I ordered from them, and their shipping was pretty fast.

Is there a brand you would recommend? I'm thinking the Barracuda... I want 100+ GB for under 90 bucks, including shipping and handling.

Miss the part where I said I nagged a 250 for 85?
