NBA 2012/13 Season Discussion Thread

I rag on Don Sterling a lot, but the frakkin' Maloofs are making him look like Jerry Buss in comparison LOL.

Joe and Gavin Maloof don't seem to care LOL

"Seattle Supersonics" here we come.:redface2:

Then again...beats being named "Pelicans"...

Still...this Kings team makes the Bobcats look good...heck, it makes the late 80s-early 90s Kings Teams look good. I know Sacto has better effort than that.:redface2:

Yeah the more this season goes on, I actually won't care anymore if the Kings do move to Seattle to become the Seattle Supersonics. Let the fans deal with the team but I do believe the owners there would put a better effort into building a team. Unlike the Maloofs who would give up on their lottery pick half a year into his rookie so they can save $3 million. Horrible.

Speaking of the Kings though, I am shocked that the Heat needed two Overtime sessions to defeat the Kings. At home nonetheless. It took Lebron and Wade some video game-like numbers to put them away in the 2nd OT. Marcus Thornton became the highest leading scorer to come off the bench this season as well. Talk about weird. Lol...At least the team put up a fight though.

There was a brawl during the Warriors/Pacers game. I wonder who's going to get suspended from this game. Looks like some Pacers players more than Warriors.

Well, here's to hoping the Charlotte Bobcats get renamed BACK INTO THE CHARLOTTE HORNETS after the current New Orleans Hornets become a bunch of fucking Pelicans next season

LOL..........the Kings-to-Sonics situation is gonna take awhile (or might not happen at all)

I'm actually cool with the Charlotte Bobcats. Love their Uniform designs, and I love the floor design.

Though...if Charlotte does take back the "Hornets" name...I'd love to see a logo update.

Yeah I read the reports about the Kings sale and there's a chance that the move won't happen at all. If it doesn't, that will be cool. But if it does, I already know a lot of fans don't care about the team anymore. That's what many told me when I made a visit to Sacramento recently.

With the Hornets becoming the Pelicans next season, I do wonder if the Hornets name will go back to Charlotte as well. I think the Hornets name sounds much better with Charlotte anyways instead of Bobcats.

Sounds like the Maloofs did a bang up job of alienating the fanbase....Team hasn't had a good season since that last campaign with Chris Webber and Peja Stojakovic.

Yeah pretty much. Anyways, the Kings played a hard fought game against the Warriors and barely lost. I didn't like how they played in the last minute when they had the lead. It was horrible. They didn't play to win obviously. These two teams always play each other tough so at least the game was fun to watch again. Just shocked that they both scored less than 90 points.

The Heat barely beat the Magic at home. How odd. I don't understand how the Heat struggled to beat them at all. But then again, they struggled to beat the Kings recently too. Lastly, the Lakers were losing big time to the Hornets and then Kobe had to become Kobe Bryant and comeback to win the game. He had a huge game. Very impressive from Kobe again.

So now the Lakers have taken over the 8th spot in the West due to the recent failures of the Utah Jazz. The weird rotation that Corbin has been doing with the Jazz is confusing and I'm sure that plays into their recent losses. Kobe Bryant has been playing like a beast lately though so if they keep this up, they will be in the Playoffs and the Jazz will be out.

Demarcus Cousins got himself ejected in the game against the Bucks. I hate it so much. He got bumped by Dunleavy and then he gave a cheapshot back to him quickly after. What was horrible about this was that the Bucks could not stop Cousins at all. He was feasting on them all night. With him gone, the Kings fought back but it wasn't enough. I thought Jimmer got fouled in the end and should've got two free-throws to tie the game. They got screwed. The game was fun to watch though.
