One thing that was really weird about that episode was how, aside from Ms Cake there was no other background character! The streets of Ponyville were empty, Pinkie Pie didn't invite anybody else to her parties even though she seems friend with everybody... heck Spike wasn't at the first party and nobody thought to bring their pet to bond with Gummy! Angel, Gummy and Opalescence in the same room can you imagine that?

Honestly I think Pinkie Pie looks better with straight hair, though it does against her entire personality. Also does anyone else think Pinkie Pie may need to go see a therapist, she had some major mood swings in this episode.
It was good to see Gummy again though, he is one awesome toothless gator.

It's a big day!
For anypony still playing, the SEASON FINALE airs today! (It's the Grand Galloping Gala referenced way early in the season.)
And then we don't get Season 2 until December-ish.

Okay, it just aired, and all I have to say is, MAN, was that an awesome episode! 
Not only did we get yet another EXCELLENT musical number, but the numerous hijinks the Ponies encountered on their quest for the best night ever were hysterical! My favorite had to be timid Fluttershy completely losing her mind when the animals didn't want to be her friends. Crazy Fluttershy was a hysterical combination of awesomeness, adorability, and EXTREME RAEG! :laugh: Overall, this was a friggin' AWESOME season finale and it makes me all the sadder that we're going to have to wait until Fall for more Ponies. :disappoin Words cannot describe how much I'm looking forward to next season!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really didn't like this episode. Too many of my favorite characters either stretching character or experiencing extreme bummers all around.
