[Cartoon] My Little Pony Talkback Thread

Welcome to herd hmf!

As for favorite episodes? Hmm... I really liked the two parter off course, I liked Bridle Gossip, Look Where you Sleep, Applebuck Season, Fall Weather Friend, Suited for Success Winter Wrap Up, and off course Sonic Rainboom. Dragonshy and Swarm of the Century weren't bad either.

I've been watching this gradually, so I haven't found any real episodes that stand out as my favorite yet. But today, I'm watching 'Call of the Cutie', and I really think Diamond Tiara should be renamed to Bitch Pony.

wow a lot of people on the My Little Pony facebook page are coming down on the new series saying its not as good as the OG series

These people are what we like to refer to as... idiots.

Blah hasbrotoys is useless in buying these online. I don't want need (how do you do the strikethrough here?) a Database of toys.

Btw, the pony toys with hair...screw em.

see?

And yeah, not too fond of the toys with hair. It doesn't work with this design style. I did nab Rainbow Dash though...

... have not opened yet but I plan on using some product to try and "fix" her hair.

Welcome to herd hmf!

All according to keikaku.

Editors note: 'keikaku' means Pony

Actually the only thing that really makes the G4 ponies look off is their hair. If you can fix it they look rather spot on.

Rainbow Dash

As for this week's episode, awesome. Also is this the first we heard about Sweetie Bell being Rarity's sister? I wonder if Scootaloo is going to be related to Rainbow Dash somehow.

Yeah, awesome toy mods.

And since this is the second episode the CMCs have appeared in, I'm pretty sure it's the first time they told us about any other relation of them to the main characters, besides Applebloom.
If they come back again, hopefully Scootaloo gets a relative. It'd be a nice way to bring everything together.

CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS ADORABLE MISSION IS GO!

(yay)

Yeah, this wasn't too bad! Their antics were predictable but very fun and in moderated doses they won't get annoying. They also weren't malicious as lots of kids get in this kind of stock plot. They're playful, not problems. I approve.

As characters, I wouldn't minding seeing more about them; something deeper than the "wacky kids!" thing they've got going on now. As their previous appearance said, they've got potential--almost as the pony version of Young Justice*, in a way, especially if Scootaloo really has some kind of nerfed speed powers. Am completely fine with them being siblings--(especially since the core ponies still live on their own :)). Brings in some nice easy "living up to/being different from big sis" angles the writers can work with.

They are, naturally, adraoble as all hell, though I ain't exactly gunning for a toy of them yet. Sell us on them, Team Faust. It's the only way you'll move those Cheerilee figures :D

...by the way, show, we gotta talk.
Between her recent Looney Tunescapade and this week's mishap, did you somehow in the last month decide you just hated Twilight? Cause if so this makes me sad

*The good one, not the animated annoyance airing currently

Haha. This week's ep was cute. Good Fluttershy focus and good to see that Rarity's lesson learned of biting off more than she can chew was improved upon. I also remember thinking when Fluttershy found Twilight that it was a gag, not real. The transition from the comedic and light to the point of the show was pretty sudden though. All in all, it was all right episode. Still enjoyable.
