So the grand poobah of Equestria Daily got a nice early present from the Hub. It's a promo that'll be soon airing on the channel as they show Season 1 of MLP in syndication (multiple times a day!) during the off-season.

Even if you don't like the song it filks (I never did; the melody grates on my ears), it's definitely worth a look for the editing, footage and especially the lyrics, which contain--according to Hub themselves--specially planted shoutouts to the brony faction.

Needless to say, said faction's kinda rejoicing right now. I admit I'm also pretty amused by this.

I am amazed at this relationship between the fans and creators. It has me looking forward to the second season for sure, just to see what happens. I think we can all at least look forward to Derpy having a speaking role. When I get the chance I think I'll pick up some toys to show my support, I am just hoping they make some kind of Apple Bloom toy some day.

This IS Hasbro we're talking about. Their relationship with the Transformers and GI Joe fans is probably one of the best in the buisness. They have a keen eye for ways to please the fanbase without making any compromise to their regular buisness goals. Now many random Transformers nowaday come out with names from the old comic books?
